Service Ministries:

3. Deaconess

These ministries are involved with and are expected to be available for every facet of work at our church. Each has distinct and specific duties. Deacons are officers which have a scriptural origin. The trustees, because of the fact that most Churches are incorporated, have delegate authority to speak for the Church as it relates to business matters and only, what the Church allows them. The Deaconess’ serve as a support of the Church, Pastor, and where ever they are asked. Deaconess’ are not officers.

Education Ministries:

1. Board of Christian Education
2. Sunday School/NBC
3. Mission Society
4. Laymen
5. Evangelism
6. Orientation
7. Youth Department

Because education is one of the most important areas in our churches. These groups serve as the vehicles to get the messages and meanings to the masses. The Board of Christian Education is made up of representative from every Educational Area and other area in the church. When a work shop is planned or deemed needed, the Pastor along with the BCE will make sure that a competent facilitator will be invited.

Helping Hands Ministries:

1. Ushers (4)
2. Sick Committee
3. Pastor’s Esteem Ministry
4. Food and Kitchen Committee
5. Janitorial/Clean Up Ministry

These Ministries do what is said, they use their skill for hands on assistance. Their service is rendered in a variety of ways. They help in worship, ushers, in homes sick, and all members are encouraged to assist with the Pastor’s Esteem Group Ministry as we support all the needs of the Pastor.

Worship Ministries:

1. Praise Team
2. Choirs (5)

All members, especially the Deacons are involved with our worship. However, the other key to the worship experience outside of the Pastorial Preaching is the group or groups who help to set the mode for worship. The choirs also serve to help prepare the hearts and minds of the congregration for the reception of God’s Word.
